“Unveiled” is the ministry and heart of two passionate women. Miss America 2007 Lauren Nelson and award winning TV News Anchor Robin Marsh, team up to reach girls with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The ladies met when Robin interviewed Lauren during her reign as Miss America. A friendship formed and the ladies have felt the Lord leading them to use their influence to help girls and women of all ages understand their true identity and worth through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
2012 is expected to be an exciting year for Unveiled Ministries. Robin and Lauren have co-written two books set to be released for teen girls. The devotional “God, Girls and Getting Connected” will be released by Harvest House publishers February 1st, 2012. “God, Girls and Guys”, a chapter book on relationships and dating is set to be released in August of 2012.
“Unveiled Ministries” is launching a social network campaign (January 2012) focusing on the “cell phone” generation. Teen girls will be able to come to the website www.withunveildfaces.com and beencouraged and inspired in their walk with God. The website will be an interactive place for teen girls to ask life questions. Robin and Lauren will connect with teen girls through video answers to their questions, blogs, (etc.) and other social media outlets. Social media is a vital line to keeping in touch daily with teen girls and the issues on their hearts and minds.
Perhaps the one thing closest to the hearts of Robin and Lauren is actual face to face time with young girls and women. The two have many speaking engagements lined up for 2012 and are always seeking opportunities to share the message of hope in God. They ladies use transparency, humor and a genuine love for the Lord to help convey the message of Truth to young girls and women. The goal for 2012 is to connect with girls on a real level through books, the website , social media outlets and live events.
